Windy, stormy, and sand was hard and difficult for kids to play. Busy because it was spring break, but that was expected. People smoked cigarettes and weed; they were inconsiderate of families with kids around them. Had one nice night with a sunset.

The beach is big, open, beautiful, and easy to walk. There is easy access to wading and swimming in the gulf, as well as, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. You can walk to restaurants and bars with great views, or just rent a cabana and chairs to enjoy a wonderful beach.

I ride bicycle throughout my stay, no car. Excellent bicycle area. Please cross at crossing lanes and look before crossing. Most motorists are courteous to walkers and bicyclers. Many great eateries along the way. Taco Bus is a favorite. Fresh seafood to cook at hotel/motel as most have outdoor grilling area. Key West Fresh Seafood or Fish Busterz. The apartment is a typical Florida rental, it has everything, some areas have been invested in (furniture, some kitchen appliances) and renovated (nice color concept) other areas (bathrooms) would need some updating in the long run.
